Stories from the Bay
Watergate Bay Hotel is so close to the sea you can watch the surfers from the pool. It’s about the balance in life: getting among the elements, eating and drinking well, having a good time with family and friends.

Events calendar
On a blustery September evening 500 people came to Watergate Bay to watch the first ever polo match to be played on a beach in the UK. Ten years on it became firmly established in the Cornwall event calendar drawing crowds of over 10,000.
Polo on the Beach
Polo on the Beach was always designed to break down the elitist barriers associated with polo, letting as many people as possible have a taste of this dynamic, action-packed spectacle, capturing their imagination and inspiring them to try something new.
