English National Surfing Championships

Excitingly, for the first time in the event’s history, the U12 and U14 shortboarders will compete under priority rules, at an event on May 17 at Watergate Bay. This change is a pivotal step for young athletes preparing to represent Team England on the world stage.

UK Surfboat competition

Watch the exhilarating sport of UK Surfboat racing right on the beach at Watergate Bay. Inspired by the Australian tradition of racing surf rescue boats, the oar-powered surfboats will compete in a series of short, intense races which see crews first battle out through the incoming waves, then attempt to surf the breaking waves back to the beach. This high adrenaline competition returns to the Bay for the first time in ten years.

The King and Queen of the Bay: Beach Volleyball championships

Who will be crowned the King and Queen of the Bay? Some of the best players in Britain will be competing, alongside free coaching sessions. Head down to Watergate Bay for this free spectator event on the sand.
