To Infinity and beyond!

Calling all ‘mini-Earthlings’, we’ll be launching rockets, building Moon Habitats, and exploring the night sky with some beach stargazing. Get transported to our very own space station, become an astronaut and escape from an alien invasion.

Toddlers:

• ‘The Smeds and The Smoo’s’ – Come and explore this interactive story set up inspired by a Julia Donaldson classic

• Planet Art– stamp, draw, stick, dab, or print – the choice is yours

• Moon water sensory play – help the moon dissolve and turn into moon water

• ‘Space worms’ messy play – Get stuck in with this taste safe messy play

• Five little astronauts – join us with a sing and sign jam session

 Kids:

• Junk Model rocket launch – Create your own rocket from our space station recycling centre and launch it into the sky

• Alien swamp – make your own mini alien and create a slimy swamp for your new friend

• Star gazing – Can you spot a shooting star or a UFO? Maybe even Superman?

• Galaxy tie dye – designing swirly whirly tie dye creations inspired by our galaxy

• Space Beach Scavenger hunt – hunting for asteroids, aliens, and extraterrestrial artifacts along the beach and in the caves.

• Constellation creation - let the space rocks decide the fate of your universe! Roll them onto your map and chart their landings as stars.

XA Club:

• Astronaut training academy – Design and make your own space kit; fashion combined with durability.

• Launch party – Edible planets and cosmic karaoke

• Moon Fizzers – Moon dust bath fizzers, let your soak time transport you to a galaxy far away.

• Escape room – your decisions will shape the future for yourselves and humanity; can you survive the Alien Encounter?

• Pinhole camera DT challenge - night-time constellation viewing and plotting.

Bring your rockstar moves to the test with mega dance offs, music video making and sing offs. Get creative, designing and making your own puppets, learn the art of diablo and finish off with a spectacular west end inspired fashion show!

We’re bringing the festival vibes to Watergate Bay – Think festival flags, homemade bunting, Churros bake off’s, Film making and DIY festival beach games.

Celebrating our Cornish heritage with camping inspired den building, carnival crafts and beach cleans along with pasty and scone making competitions.  

Legends & Mythical Creatures

We’ll be developing the skills needed to tame dragons, learning the werewolf howl, taking some flying lessons from a certain wizarding school and whipping up some truly disgusting potions.
